To help support our future growth as an agency, we are looking for an Account Assistant, Beauty to join our team based in our New York office

Key Responsibilities

Assist and working closely with the Senior Account Manager & Account Director:

Media / Influencer

• Actively involved in the pitching of product to press and crafting and writing of creative pitches

• Proactively make and cultivate relationships with members of press

• Update contact database and media lists as necessary

• Takes an active interest in the world of digital communications and can confidently identify how digital activations can support our client strategies from what influencers brands are working with, to which websites brands are doing paid partnerships with etc.

• Keeps up to date with developments in the influencer sphere and identifies opportunities to suggest suitable influencers for KO clients
  

Reporting

• Prepare agendas and media updates for client calls

• Scan for print, online and social press clips and distribute to clients

• Maintain and create weekly and monthly reports for each client

• Manage Lefty campaigns for individual client accounts

• Conduct and complete market and industry research
  

Admin

• Manage daily product deliveries and new launch / seasonal mailings/ pack-outs

• Serve as point of contact for shipping, messengers, etc.

• Manage organization of product inventory and client product closet

• Be available to work on and support on events, projects, shows as needed

Key Attributes

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a public relations intern or fulltime employee ideally in an agency setting across multiple luxury beauty accounts

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in advertising, PR, marketing, communication or a related field

• Strong communication skills (both written and oral), research, and organization skills

• Ability to multitask and time manage to meet deadlines across a roster of clients

• Accomplishes tasks accurately, thoroughly, and with a keen eye for detail

• Highly motivated and enthusiastic

• Strong work ethic

• Strong passion for the beauty & wellness space

• Must be efficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, LaunchMetrics (Fashion GPS)

• Must be eligible to work in the US
