Account Manager, Communications & Events
To help support our future growth as an agency, we are looking for an PR Account Manager to join our team based in our Munich office.

To help support our future growth as an agency, we are looking for an Account Manager, Communications & Events to join our team based in our Munich office.
The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented professional who has gained solid experience in public relations, communications strategy, media relations, content development, as well as event management and experiential marketing. They will be responsible for management of client accounts, executing integrated communications strategies and event concepts, and building meaningful relationships with media contacts, venues, production partners, and stakeholders for high-profile luxury clients.
Key Responsibilities
Key areas of responsibility will include:
Client Focus
Manage day-to-day client communications and coordinate regular client status meetings
Develop and write press releases, media pitches, and communication materials as well as event proposals and concept presentations
Create and implement targeted communications strategies and experiential event formats for specific client initiatives and campaigns
Actively build and maintain a network of journalists, editors, publishers, and industry experts to secure media placements as well as cultivate relationships with venues, suppliers, and production partners
Contribute substantively to new business pitches, including research, concept development, and presentation materials including budget planning and event concepts where required
Articulate client messages effectively through written, verbal, and visual communication as well as through live experiences and brand activations
Take ownership of client accounts or specific projects within larger accounts
Coordinate closely with the Talent Services , Events, and Communications teams to ensure integrated communications and event execution
Identify opportunities for media coverage and strategic partnerships including event collaborations and sponsorship opportunities that align with client objectives
Monitor industry trends and innovations in communications and event design/production to provide informed recommendations to clients
Deliver comprehensive media coverage reports with analysis and strategic recommendations as well as post-event reports including KPI evaluation and budget reconciliation
Mentor junior team members on fundamental communications and event management tasks and processes
Agency Focus
Actively contribute to the agency's communications mission and brand positioning as well as its experiential and events offering
Take part in cross-office initiatives and international client projects
Support in developing internal communications materials and standardized processes including event planning tools and production templates
Maintain and enhance the agency's media contact database as well as vendor and venue databases, and cultivate relationships with key industry publications and trusted production partners
Take leadership role for junior team members
Represent the agency at select industry events and media functions
Contribute ideas for agency thought leadership content and marketing initiatives across communications and experiential disciplines
Key Attributes
Fluent in English and German; additional languages such as French or Italian are a plus
Strong sense of luxury brand aesthetics with excellent taste level, editorial judgment, and spatial/experiential sensibility
A minimum of 4 years experience in communications or PR agency, event or experiential agency environment, or in-house at a luxury brand with a strong communications and events program
Demonstrated ability to manage communications projects and event productions from concept to completion including on-site execution
Established relationships with relevant media contacts and understanding of media landscape as well as familiarity with venues, suppliers, and production partners
Ability to craft compelling storylines and identify newsworthy angles for clients while translating brand objectives into immersive event experiences
Skilled coordinator with management capabilities for both projects and junior team members
Strong knowledge of media landscape and proven ability to secure placements across different channels combined with an understanding of premium event production standards
Creative thinker who can translate client objectives into effective communications strategies and impactful live experiences
Solid understanding of the luxury industry media ecosystem and key stakeholders
Confidence in presenting to clients and leading client calls, meetings, and on-site event briefings
Fundamental Leadership skills with the ability to delegate and provide feedback
Strong project and time management skills for handling multiple clients, budgets, production timelines, and deadlines
Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail as well as strong organizational and production coordination capabilities
Team player with a collaborative mindset who can also work with increasing autonomy
Ability to handle pressure, conflicting priorities, and tight deadlines including live production environments with professionalism
Computer proficiency including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and media monitoring tools as well as event budgeting and project management tools
