PR Assistant Account Manager (Fashion, Beauty & Lifestyle)
To help support our future growth as an agency, we are looking for a PR Assistant Account Manager to join our team based in our Hong Kong office.

Karla Otto Hong Kong is looking for an Assistant Account Manager candidate who is experienced, organized, and a self-motivated team player with the ability to manage key fashion and luxury brand accounts. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years Public Relations experience in fashion & lifestyle either in-house or within an agency. Good writing and communication skills are required; Strong existing media, influencers, and celebrity network is required; Bilingual (Cantonese & English) fluency is a must (Mandarin fluency a bonus); Substantial knowledge in the luxury and fashion industry is a must.
What you'll be doing?
Proactively develop relevant and appropriate ideas and initiatives to maximize brand awareness for key clients and projects
Strategic outreach to editors and stylists in key long/short lead, and online media outlets to secure targeted media exposure including news features, spokesperson interviews, product placement and editorials.
Handle day-to-day PR activity relating to assigned account including media enquiries management, coverage analysis, report development, sample management and delivery, etc.
Copywriting for relevant communication materials: press releases, media invitation, event proposals, media profiles, etc. Other materials also include extensive market research documents, and data analysis report, etc.
Media monitoring and regular (weekly/monthly/seasonal) measurement report development with comprehensive analysis and summaries.
Plan and execute events of different scale including press previews/presentations, fashion shows, VIP events/dinners, launch party, etc
Able to lead, encourage, mentor, and develop a team of junior staff members along with manager.
Who are we looking for?
A minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably handling multiple luxury labels
Educated to degree level in advertising, PR, marketing, communications or a related field
Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
A solid understanding of fashion and industry trends
Generates novel and useful ideas and solutions to everyday problems and challenges
Prioritises tasks effectively
A strong work ethic
A wide range of extensive industry contacts·
Accomplishes tasks accurately and thoroughly with strong follow-up skills
Takes ownership for specific projects with manager’s supervision and provide a value- added approach to all issues and projects.
Displays leadership qualities and effectively delegates where appropriate
Confidence to train and direct the work of Account Coordinators and Assistants
Outstanding communication skill
Strong computer skills
